Rulecards:
Every game will be played with rulecards. Rulecards are an additional random 3 rules that are added at East 1 and replaced in South 1 with 3 new random rulecards.
It's a modification of the Dreamland Odyssey mode released to Mahjong Souls.
There are 3 decks. Dealer, Fortune and Curse. Dealer only affects the dealer, Fortune has positive effects and Curse has negative effects.
How a game of Doracula's riichi mahjong will play out:
There will be 3 separate deck of cards at your table. When the organizer starts the game timer 1 random card from each deck is drawn immediately and placed face up in the middle of the table or wherever is agreed upon amongst the 4 players. After that East 1 may start as normal.
When the game reaches South 1 the existing cards are discarded and 3 new cards are drawn, one from each deck, and applies until the game ends.
The organizer will announce when the game timer hits 80 minutes. That means that you finish your current hand and then end the game.
When the game ends you sum up all your score and subtract your starting points(30000), this number is written down on the provided scoresheet. Below this number you write down your UmaWinner of a game gets 30000 extra points, 2nd place gets 10000 extra points, 3rd place gets -10000 points and last place gets -30000 points. These points are what players often call "Uma"
. The point sticks and rulecards are then reset to their starting position.
Lastly, the scoresheet is handed to the organizer.
